Education

Because of the unique services we provide, Malachi House has become a training ground for many fields of study including nursing, medical and seminary. As part of their formal course of study, students are exposed to an often-overlooked area in their curricula - the final stages of human life.

The House provides a setting and exposure that cannot be captured from textbooks or the classroom. Students who visit, learn how to use both the heart and mind while working with our residents.

Training often includes:

• High school students   
• Nursing students   
• Occupational therapy students  
• Seminarians
• Medical residents   
• Service groups from high schools, colleges, banks and home improvement stores
