2008 Volunteer of the Year
Volunteers are vital to the foundation of Malachi House and we are ever grateful for the services and time they extend to our residents.
The 2008 Volunteer of the Year is a husband and wife team from Maple Heights, Steve and Jody Ondrus. They are truly a “team” in every sense of the word and visit out House on Sundays to do whatever needs to be done – from meal preparation, cleaning, mopping floors, arranging flowers and caring for residents. We also can’t forget their amazing dedication to “elf” duties at Christmas time, as they have assumed complete responsibility for the wrapping and distribution of gifts for the residents.
Congratulations, Steve and Jody! We appreciate the unconditional love you share and commitment to the House.
Steve and Jody will be recognized at the Annual Malachi House Benefit on October 24, 2008.
