2010 Malachi House Open Golf Tournament
Malachi House, a home of love for persons who are terminally ill, held its 15th Annual Malachi House Open at Dorlon Golf Club in Columbia Station. The outing marked the 15th consecutive sellout event with a field of 176 golfers. The large contingent hit their first tee shots at 10:30 a.m. amongst overcast skies and mild temperatures.
“Unfortunately, no one managed a hole-in-one to win the 2010 Nissan Altima donated by Nissan of North Olmsted,” said Tony Shaker, the event chair. “Nonetheless, the participants walked away with hundreds of great raffle prizes donated from local Cleveland vendors and sponsors. A fantastic time was had by all!”
This year’s co-champions included the teams of Dan Smith (60), Mike Boyer, Pauly Gervason, Kevin O’Brien, John Granzier (70), John Fogarty, John David, and Brent Lewanski with a combined two-team score of 130 (-14).
