2010 Krusty’s Summer Sauce Camp
On Saturday, August 7, 2010, 2,100 young adults and volunteers descended upon Whiskey Island Marina for the 19th Annual Krusty’s Summer Sauce Camp. Radiant sunshine graced the grounds of the beautiful Wendy Park at the Whiskey Island Marina. The energetic young crowd was treated to live musical performances by Cleveland’s Curve Band and Lt. Dan’s New Legs from Columbus, Ohio.
Those in attendance feasted on the all-you-can-eat summertime buffet and adult beverages. Summer games of choice included a 64-team cornhole competition, beach volleyball, and an overall festive summer picnic atmosphere on the shores of Lake Erie.
Proceeds generated from this event benefited the Malachi House with total receipts of $61,000.00, thus toppling 2009 as the most successful in its nineteen-year run.
On behalf of all the hard working volunteers and to all our guests and patrons – we thank you for your continued support and hope to see you for our 20th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, August 6, 2011.
