About Our Annual Events

Malachi House hosts a number of annual and special events throughout the year, including volunteer picnics, benefits and golf tournaments to support our mission. Here are details for events to look for every year.

  • Malachi House Open Golf Tournament (June) – Traditional shotgun start with dinner and raffle.
  • Christmas in July - Local businesses and churches work to replenish our cupboards by conducting food and supply drives throughout the area during the month of July.
  • Apex Charity Open (July) - Hosted by Apex Pest Control, benefiting Malachi House and The Upsides of Downs.
  • Krusty’s Summer Sauce Camp (August) - Cleveland’s legendary young adult benefit for Malachi House at The Whiskey Island Marina. Live entertainment, all you can eat Krusty burgers, summertime fare and adult libations.
  • Volunteer Picnic (August) – Residents and staff enjoy an afternoon to give thanks to the hard work of our volunteers.
  • Malachi House Gala Benefit (October) – An evening out featuring a silent auction, food, drinks and entertainment.
  • Lights for Life (December) – Honor family, friends and loved ones by sponsoring a light with the Lights for Life benefit.
