Resident Stories

Mama...

…she pretty much touched everyone’s life in a positive way, not just the staff but other residents, volunteers, hospice staff and the list goes on and on. She always brightened my day with her contagious laughter and little hand claps. She rooted for the Tribe even when they were not playing up to her liking; she knew as much about them as any run of the mill sports buff, that always amazed me! She would sit at the dining room table at those little parties they throw during the day and sing and dance in her chair and all this at 104 yrs of age. She lived a very long full life, I can’t even imagine all the things she witnessed in all those years but we should all feel privileged and honored to have been part of her final one. I think we all know where Mama is now, rooting for the Tribe in a big lush recliner in heaven. So…..rest in peace Mama, we all love you and we’ll all miss you.
